With a major lack of good music in the world,
three kick-ass musicians have come together to rock like nobody's business.
These three go by the name of BLACKWATER.
Beginning in the Summer of 2005, the three got together to jam and write songs.
After a few months had passed, the band had written a collection of catchy tunes
that show traces of classic rock, blues, funk, and alternative.
It is BLACKWATER's goal to rock anyone and everyone that stops to listen...

WES NATIONS Guitar |
A self-taught master of the six string, Wes was destined to have a life in music. Born in Fort Worth on February 17, 1984, Wes grew up in the small Texas town of Poolville, where the only thing for him to do was play guitar. He started playing at age 13 and with the help of his Led Zeppelin CDs, he progressed rather quickly. By the time Wes entered high school, it was well known that he had talent. Wes' pivotal role in Blackwater is to provide the rockin' riffs and soaring solos in an attempt to keep Rock 'N' Roll alive.

JAKE PULLIG Bass |
Jake was born on August 7, 1986 in Abbington, PA. He ain't no yankee, though! Jake started playing bass in late 2002. He learned mostly from playing with other guitar players such as his father, Skip Pullig, and fellow bandmate Wes Nations. Jake also cites the countless hours of listening to the likes of Zeppelin, Hendrix, and Black Sabbath as helping him to become the accomplished bassist that he is. It is Jake's role in the band to take all of his influences and meld them to form the rock hard dirty funk that cakes the Blackwater tracks.

JASON WHORTON Drums |
The guy behind the skins, Jason was born on January 24, 1986 and grew up in Azle, Texas. Music took over Jason's life at a young age. When Jason turned 13, he was blessed with his first drumset which he received from his mother. During those early teen years, he jammed alot while using headphones, trying to master his favorite songs. A few years later, Jason became more exposed to classic music like Led Zeppelin and soon learned what real musicians are all about. From this point on, Jason's life would never be the same. Jason's musical goal is to continuously strive to become a better musician and grow with a great band by his side.
